I am demonstrating a way to control forces that are originating in, and emanating out of your structure. Think about it…it’s not always about standing like a statue and pressing. It’s not about the static bench press. The fact is the bench press has very little application to anything other than a strong tricep. Yes I said tricep. As I go through different body positions, notice the path never changes. I am conditioning my body to accept force loads in many positions. The cool benefit is I am training all the horizontal muscles responsible for the chest press.
