Kick Backs are a way to stress the spine, and add disproportionate forces to the elbow joint. The reason why we bend over is to obtain opposition. We need to create resistance in the back of the arm right? I laugh during these group classes when they bend the members over and they do these little kick back movements thinking there beneficial. I have determined the perfect opposing factor when performing the Kick back. I line the cable up with the perfect distal application. OK there I go again with the tech talk!
