I keep seeing trainers instructing their client to walk around the gym doing lunges. I cringe when I see a wave of disproportionate forces, as the heels lift, and knees migrate in. The studies done on the amount of force on the patellofemoral joint outweighs the benefit. The Step Back Parise Lunge has more benefit (regional stimulus) with zero transverse, or longitudinal stress….Yep you won’t hurt the knees y’all !!!
